Hii friends !!!! Today I'm going to write about NCC because I'm a NCC cadet and I feel proud to write about this. To be NCC Cadet is like being unique, dedicated, hardworking, and punctual. The life as a NCC Cadet is one of the best experiences one can ever have. We have to undergo service training for a minimum period of 75% of total hours during the college session. NCC cadets take part in Mountaineering, Trekking,Parachute sailing and so on. Seems like a good deal even while doing your graduation from outside, right????
NCC offers a whole new life of adventure as a 8 rock climbing camps are held each year to expose the cadets to the basics of elementary rock climbing . Four of these camps are at Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh and other four camps at Nayyardam near Trivandrum in Kerala. Apart from this, various other camps are also organised, like Republic Day Camp (RDC), Combined Annual Training Camps(CATC), Hiking and Trekking Camps, Advance leadership course, Thai Sainik Camp (TSC), and many more camps .And the best part you have to attend the unit for parade , drills and practice only on weekends, that too just for 4 hours. In NCC ,  we have two exams i.e. B Certificate exam and C Certificate exam. And after getting C certificate , you are eligible for the direct SSB interview for the respective arms.So direct entry.
On a final note, let me leave you with the pledge that every NCC cadet upholds to:
We the cadets of the National Cadet Corps(NCC), do solomenly pledge that we shall always uphold the unity of India .  We resolve to be disciplined and responsible citizen of our nation. We shall undertake positive community service in the spirit of selflessness and concern for our fellow beings .
Till my next post good night guys, take care and see you'll soon.....
